The mysterious Steorn technology has officially been given a name. Up until now, it’s just been known as Steorn’s weird and physically impossible newborn discovery (well, at least by me). But boy, wouldn’t it be wonderful if the laws of thermodynamics actually could be broken? If you’re unfamiliar with their claims, they purport to have discovered a technology that can create energy with 100% efficiency, out of nowhere. That’s right folks, think of the possibilities: no more refilling of gas tanks, burning of coal, etc. to create energy. If this thing is real, it could change our whole outlook on life. Granted, they have almost the entire scientific community scoffing at the ridiculousness of their claims. I understand why there’s skepticism; however, I at least hope that they’re right, assuming this kind of technology won’t cause the world to blow up because of factors of which we are unaware.

I have been checking up on them regularly in order to find out about any updates. They have compiled a ‘jury’ of unaffiliated scientists to rigorously test their claims, after which their results will be published. If you’re interested, you can sign up via the text input on the bottom of the front page to receive an update by email when the results are published.
