I remember my fascination as a kid every time I walked into a gadget store at the mall to see a large plasma lamp with all of its glorious purple beams protruding from the center. I felt powerful as I ran my fingers across the globe and the rays seemingly empowered me with bolts of electricity.
Okay, enough reminiscence. Luckily for me, they now sell these contraptions in light bulb form that will work in any standard socket. And, at $10 a pop, I can fill my entire house with loads of fun.
