Hopefully you are familiar with M.C. Escher and his mathematical artwork (if not go to Wikipedia). If you’ve seen any portion of his most famous works, you should have seen “Ascending and Descending” and “Relativity”. The former features a physically impossible staircase that never ends, and the latter features staircases facing almost every direction, with gravity acting on people in three different planes.

As the title of this post suggests, I came across models of both of these works created entirely of LEGO blocks. Genius! It must have been a very difficult project to undertake, considering the complexity of Escher’s work (especially the impossible staircase). Kudos to the guys who had enough time on their hands skills to accomplish such a task.
