Okay, so I lied. But, you can rest assured that the Rubik’s Revolution, being released this summer, will fulfill all your geekish needs with flashing lights, single and multiplayer games, and various puzzles to twist your noggin.
The new cube keeps that 3 x 3 configuration and the iconic colored sides, but adds in electronic games including Light Speed, Rapid Recharge, Pattern Panic, Cube Catcher, Code Cracker and Multiplayer Madness.
They sound like fun games, but there are no details yet what they are or how they will be played. And I’m guessing that you’ll still be able to solve it the old-fashioned way, at least if you know how.
For $20 I’m definitely excited to give it a try.
