This USB device sits atop your display and will monitor your posture and vision. It will flash an LED if you are sitting incorrectly and also does the same when you are too close to the monitor. It retails for $26.

I wonder if this would actually help? I’ve got to have a lot of motivation to improve my posture. It’s sad, but I feel much more comfortable leaning back in my chair with my legs up than I do sitting straight up with my feet on the floor. The more awkward the position, the more comfortable.

Not only that, but I swear I’m losing my eyesight at an exponential rate because of staring at my monitor too much, often sitting far too close.

What do you think? Worth the investment?
