You know, the old saying holds true…you learn something new every day. This new bit of information comes from a friend who noticed my wife attempting to accomplish the impossible simple task of pulling some imitation Saran wrap from the box. Every time she pulled, the roll fell out. This repeated probably 5 or 6 times, when he finally interrupted her and pointed out something so simple that you would think that any intelligent person would have figured it out years ago.
If you look at each end of the box, supposedly on all types and brands of plastic wrap, there are perforated tabs that can be pushed in for the purpose of keeping the roll in place. GENIUS! Think of all the time and frustration I could have saved throughout my life had I just taken the time to inspect the box.
If your plastic wrap is too cheap to have these tabs, here’s image to provide you with an idea of how luxurious they are.
Please tell me, after I’ve gone through all of this trouble, that my wife and I are not the only ones in the world who didn’t know this!
